Benedictus Swaab was a son of Joseph Swaab and Jetje Berkhof. He married 9 November 1921 in Zaandam to Naatje Brandon, a daughter of Mozes Brandon and Johanna Godlieb.
His siblings who also have been killed durig the Holocaust were Hartog, Mozes, Sientje, Anna, Aaron, Samuel, and Heintje.
