Levie Blog was a son of Marcus Blog and Elizabeth van Furth. He married Sara van Collem in Amsterdam on 31 May 1893, a daughter of David van Collem and Rachel Olivier. The couple had eleven children of whom two has dies as babies of one month old and two survived the war. The other children who have been killed in the Holocaust were Marcus, Rachel, Samuel, David, Elizabeth, Jacob and Debora.
