Jack Levit and Rosa Davidson were married at Westerbork transit camp on 24 April 1943. He was a sales representative and the son of manufacturer Philip Levit and of Sara Bargeboer. Rosa was a typist, she was divorced from her first husband. She was a daughter of manufacturer Meijer Davidson and of Hanna de Caranca.
