Rachel Aandagt was a daughter of Jacob Aandagt and Rebecca Slier. She married 6 December 1916 in Amsterdam to Hijman de Haas, a son of Govert de Haas and Henriette Aronson.
The other eight of her eleven siblings, who have been killed during the Holocaust were Betje, Mozes, Matthea, Hartog, Isaac, Philip, David andNaatje.
