Rubertus van Zuiden was married to Heintje Lea de Jongh. The couple lived at 69 Nieuwstraat in Zwolle. Their son Menno Jacob van Zuiden still lived with them. Rubertus van Zuiden was a religious education teacher to the Jewish community.
