Magdalena Zegerius was a daughter of Izaak Zegerius and Saartje Turfkruijer. She had three children from her first marriage. Her son, Johannes Guldemond, did not survive the war. In 1923 she married for the second time and lived at Amsteldijk 18 I with her second husband, who like her first was a non-Jew. During the war, they had five people in hiding in their home. According to surviving family members, Magdalena was betrayed by a close relative.
