Jenni Kahn was a daughter of Benjamin Kahn and Marianne Meier. She came to Amsterdam in April 1937 where she married on 8 Februari 1939 to Arthur Solmitz, born 14 Juli 1914 in Bremervörde (Germany) as son of Max Solmitz and Paula Baum. The couple had one daughter Ilse. She and her father have survived the Holocaust.
