David Daniel Vas Nunes was married. His wife survived the war. From 1 Juni 1942, David Daniel had a Sperre because of his position at the Jewish Council, where he was a first-class assistant in a X-ray laboratory. His ‘case’ was dealt with by Callmeyer, the German lawyer responsible for genealogical research. Callmeyer did not come to a favourable conclusion about David Daniel Vas Nunes.
