About Paul Jacques Ricardo

Paul Jacques Ricardo was married. He and his wife had a child. The family lived in Amsterdam. Paul Jacques Ricardo was the financial editor for the Algemeen Handelsblad. He assisted people in hiding, raised funds for underground activities and arranged forged identity papers.
Paul Jacques Ricardo was caught in Amsterdam on 13 May 1944 and deported to Buchenwald via Westerbork and Bergen-Belsen. He was killed there at age 26.
