About Elisabeth van Wieringen-de Leeuw

Elisabeth was a daughter of Abraham de Leeuw and Heintje Sacksionie.

Elisabeth de Leeuw married Simon van Wieringen in Leiden on 8 June 1892. Simon van Wieringen was successively butcher, merchant, pub-keeper and garage keeper. The couple had five children of who only Willem van Wieringen didn't survive the war.

In 1892 the couple lived at Levendaal 72 in Leiden. In 1895 they moved to Leiderdorp, to return briefly to Leiden in 1913. The couple moved to The Hague in 1913.

In 1929 Simon van Wieringen died and Elisabeth de Leeuw became a widow. A year later she moved to Bosschestraat 99 in The Hague. Two years later she moved to Zeeweg 16, also in The Hague. In 1933 she returned to the Bosschestraat, to live at number 19. However the same year she moved to Middelburgsestraat 10, to return to the Bosschestraat in 1934. In 1937 she moved to Harstenhoekweg. In 1939 she moved to Amsterdamsestraat.
