About David Salomon Serfhos

The Police Commissioner of Enchede requested that David Salomon Serfhos, living in Enschede, be located, detained and brought to trial. He was suspected of having changed his place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.

David Salomon Serfhos was living in hiding in Nijmegen, where he fell into the hands of the occupying forces. One of his children was with him at the time and escaped by jumping into the river Maas. That child survived the war.
