About Rachel Leviticus-Compris

Rachel Leviticus-Compris was the sister-in-law of Jeanette Horneman-Leviticus. Her husband Emile Leviticus died in Roermond in 1927. Their youngest son Armand Noe Leviticus died during the war.

Rachel Leviticus-Compris was the vice-president of the Jewish women society ‘Bigdei Koudesj’ in Roermond. During the celebration of the 60th jubilee of the Roermond’ synagogue in 1913, the ladies presented the Jewish community a beatiful silver plate.
