Juda Isaac Erwteman studied medicine in Amsterdam. He sat for his medical finals on 1 July 1936. He took his PhD degree in Groningen on 24 May 1938 for his thesis about clinical and experimental perceptions about alcohol tolerance. Juda Isaac Erwteman lived and practised at 24 Weesperzijde in Amsterdam.
