Abraham Samuel Frenk was a son of Salomon Frenk and Mietje van Klaveren. He was a cattle dealer and a butcher. He had his own slaughterhouse on Hem 24 in Zierikzee, at the corner of Betteweg and Verrenieuwstraat. The name A.S. Frenk is still on the façade. His butcher's shop was located on the corner of the Maarstraat and Beddeweeg. There is a small parkking area on that location now.
