About Bertha Frank-Dinner

Bertha Frank-Dinner appears on a handwritten list of the individuals who held offices within the Dutch-Jewish Community in Haarlem during the early years of the war. Photos remain of all the staff members. Bertha Frank-Dinner served on the Nederlands-Israëlitisch Armbestuur [Dutch-Jewish board for poor relief] and prepared the dead at the religious institution Gemieloeth Chassadiem. Bertha Frank-Dinner was married to Philip Frank, the chief rabbi of the North Holland synagogue district. The couple lived at 26 Ripperdapark in Haarlem.

Bertha Frank-Dinner was a grandchild of the famous chief rabbi Joseph Hirsch Dünner. His children were given the Dutch naam Dinner.
