About Rosa Einhorn-Reich

Around 1913 Rosa Reich, her husband Simon Einhorn and their three children – Juda, Burech, and a child who survived the war – came from Poland to the Netherlands. Simon Einhorn was a wealthy man. He established a private commercial bank on the Keizersgracht, where his three sons went to work. After her husband’s death, Rosa Einhorn-Reich was the core of the family.

Rosa Einhorn-Reich died on 20 October 1943 in Westerbork transit camp and she was cremated on 22 October 1943. The urn with her ashes was placed on the Jewish cemetry in Muiderberg on field C, row 69, grave nr. 86.
