About Abraham Ketellapper

Abraham Ketellapper was a son of Marcus Ketellapper and Rachel Bonewit. He married 23 August 1905 in Amsterdam to Vrouwtje Kloot, a daughter of Isaac Kloot and Schoontje Groente. The couple had three children: Rosa, Jeannette and the still at home living Marcus.
Vrouwtje Kloot passed away on 25 October 1936. She was interred in the Jewish Cemetry in Diemen.
Abraham Ketellapper remarried 3 November 1937 to Reina à-Cohen.
Abraham was born in a family with ten children. Two of his sisters have passed away before the war. His other siblings, Isaac, Hijman, Marianne, Leentje, Nathan, Vrouwtje and Alexander, have been killed during the Holocaust. According to a list with shops of Jewish owners, compiled by the Amsterdam police in 1940, this family had a men's clothing shop, address: Vijzelstraat 113 in Amsterdam.
