Rebecca Voltijn was the daughter of Meijer Voltijn en Mietje de Jong a family with seven more children: Everdina, Jacques, Abraham, Salomon, Benjamin, Louis and Jacob.
Rebecca married in 1919 to a non-Jewish man. She worked as merchant. In the period 1920-1940 she and her husband lived at the following addresses: Lange Tolbrugstraat 13, Suikerstraat 1, Lange Tolbrugstraat 11, Ridderstraat 20, and Achter het Stadhuis 12. Two brothers of Rebecca, Salomon and Benjamin, lived with them. Salomon and Benjamin were cigarmaker, like her husband.
