Michael Michelson, a son of Mendel Arie Michelson and Eva Schrijver, married 27 December 1917 in Amsterdam to Aaltje Polak, a daughter of Meijer Polak and Mietje Vischjager.
Michael self was born in a family with seven children. Two brothers have died as babies and one brother has survived the Holocaust. The others, Michael, Hartog, Saartje and Juda, have been killed all in the Shoah.
