About Levi de Groot

Levi de Groot was a student at the Economische Hogeschool [polytechnic for economics] in Rotterdam. He lived in Scheveningen. He was unmarried. Levi de Groot had been assigned to work at an airport near Amiens. He fled to Paris, probably hoping to reach England. In Paris he was betrayed and caught on 9 May 1941 and deported to Birkenau (Auschwitz).
