Mietje van de Kar was a daughter of Simon van de Kar and Vrouwtje Ketellapper, who both have died already before the war. She married 13 June 1918 in Amsterdam to Abraham Pampel, a son of Mozes Pampel and Saartje Digtmaker. Abraham passed away 11 December 1941 in Amsterdam and was interred in the Jewish Cemetery in Diemen.
Her unmarried sister Esther lives in with Mietje and her daughter Sara.
