About Jacob Karel Danneboom

There is a deathcertificate of Jacob Karel Danneboom in the archives of the city of Zwolle that states that his date of death is 20 January 1944.
Information from the 'Cartotheek of the Jewish Council' and 'Herinneringscentrum Westerbork' shows that Jacob Karel Danneboom arrived at Westerbork on 13 July 1944 and that he is deported on 3 September 1944 to Auschwitz.

On behalf of the Sicherheitspolizei in Zwolle, the police commissioner requested that 44 Jews who were suspected of having temporarily changed their place of residence without the required authorization in violation of the German regulations be located, detained and brought to trial. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding. Jacob Karel Danneboom, a sales representative, was one of these 44 people from Zwolle in hiding.
