Joseph Veffer was a son of Hijman Veffer and Golda Veldman, who has passed away in 1938. Joseph married Roosje Koopman in Amsterdam on 13 August 1925, a daughter of David Koopman and Sippora Slier.
They had one daughter: Sonja.
Joseph's siblings were Volgelina(who was married to Izaak Reindorp) and Jacob, who has survived the Holocaust but who's wife Rosa Pauer was killed in Auschwitz.
