About Betje Meijer-van Vriesland

The Gorinchem police commissioner requested that Betje Meijer-van Vriesland be located, detained and brought to trial. She had changed her place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.

Betje Meijer-van Vriesland died in Camp Westerbork at age 72 on 21 February 1943. She was buried at the Jewish cemetery in Assen on 24 February 1943.
