Albert Jacob and Sijbilla Franken had two children, of whom only one survived the war. The other child, Julius, did not. At the beginning of the war, Albert and Sijbilla went into hiding together with their son Julius, his wife Hanna Bouman and Albert's sister Sara Jacob. They were all arrested in hiding and deported.
