Wolff and his family

Bernard Jacob Wolff was unmarried. He lived with his parents in Meppel. His elder brother Martin Daan (1920) had already left the parental home at the beginning of the war. His father had a wallpaper shop in Meppel. It was a small shop that employed just two assistants.
At the beginning of the war Bernard Jacob Wolff had been working for Meppel’s municipal authority as a typist, but a few months later he was dismissed from public service because he was Jewish.
