Samuel Kropveld and his family

Samuel Kropveld was a textile merchant. He was married to Goetje van Cleef. The couple lived at 77 2de Oosterparkstraat in Amsterdam and had five children: Greta Kropveld, who was married to Hartog Scheffer; Hartog Kropveld, who was married to Marie Kloot; Rozette Kropveld, who was married to Jacques de Vries and two other children.

Rozette Kropveld and her husband, Israël Samuel and the youngest child lived in the home of Samuel Kropveld and Goetje van Cleef. Samuel Kropveld fled to Brussels with the youngest child, where they were caught. They were deported to Poland, where Samuel was killed.

The archive of the Stichting Sieraden-Comité contains a complete file of the damage investigation committee and a provisional statement of the right to inheritance from 1947.
