Abraham Bruinvelds was the son of Jochem Bruinvelds and Esther Loos. He was married twice. From his first marriage to Ester Elframouritz (1881-1910) six children were born: Roza (1899-1905), Sara Maria, Jochem, Mozes (1906-1926), Anna Betje (died young) and one child that presumably survived the war.
Abraham's second marriage was to Jette Belum. From this marriage four children were born: Klara, Leo, Betje (died in 1931) and one child who survived the war.
