Salomon Levie Goldsteen was the son of Levie Salomon Goldsteen and Elizabeth Roos. He married Carolina van Kam in Rotterdam on 30 November 1910. She was the daughter of Felix van Kam and Sientje Mozes. The couple had three children: Francina Elisabeth, Elizabeth Eva and Louise Sara.
