Stoppelman and his family

Theodoor Stoppelman (known as Theo) and another child of the family found a hiding-place with two sisters in a house in Wageningen in 1942. On 20 May 1944 the house was surrounded by members of the Sicherheitsdienst (SD, Security Service). The escape route was blocked. They were arrested together with the women who had hidden them. Theo and one of the sisters who had helped him died.
