Samuel Woudstra and his family

Samuel Woudstra was born in Noordwolde (Weststellingwerf). He married on 7 May 1896 with Hendelina Benima. The couple had a small manufacture shop on the address A 194, now Boveneind 147 in Leek. Hendelina took care of the shop and Samuel sold, walking through the surroundings, manufactures. The family observed the Jewish traditions.
In 1938 their son Abraham Woudstra took over the shop.
Hendelina Woudstra-Benima died on 9 January 1943 at the age of 77 in camp Westerbork. She was buried on the Jewish cemetry in Assen on 11 January 1943.

Samuel Woudstra and Hendelina Benima were the parents of Abraham and Elizabeth Woudstra.
