Abraham Simeon Jacobson and his family

Abraham Simeon Jacobson studied medicine in Amsterdam, where he sat for his medical finals on 6 March 1906. He specialized in ear, nose and throat medicine. Abraham Simeon Jacobson lived and practised medicine at 88 Minervalaan, third floor, and later at 103 Apollolaan in Amsterdam. He also practised medicine at the Centraal Israelitisch Ziekenhuis, which he co-founded in 1916. He had additional surgeries at 28 Weteringschans and 18 Pretoriusstraat in Amsterdam. He was married to Rosa Granaat. Their last home address was at 512 Herengracht.

From 1912 to 1921, Abraham Simeon Jacobson was a member of the executive committee of the Nederlands Israëlitisch Armbestuur (Dutch-Jewish board for poor relief) in Amsterdam.
