Marianne Blom was the widow of Charles Simon Hertzdahl. He died in 1931.

Before the war, Marianne Hertzdahl-Blom took care of a young Jewish refugee from Germany. She was outspoken about her opposition to the Dutch Nazi Movement (NSB). During a NSB propaganda rally, before the war, she shouted "Dirty Dutch Traitors!" at them.

During the war, Marianne Hertzdahl-Blom was detained at camp Vught. She was tortured very badly there.

Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos file reveals that a claim was lodged for compensation for valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 5078/11674).
