Paul Wolfstein was married to Emma Platz (nickname Emmy), one of two daughters of Ida Platz-Heimbach. The couple had two children. The family lived in Alphen aan den Rijn. Paul Wolfstein and his wife were rounded up in the raid of 30 September 1942 and deported to Auschwitz via Westerbork.
