Abraham Falkenburg, born, 1880 in Kampen , is on 04.03.1943 deported with transport no. 50 from the French transitcamp Drancy to Majdanek

His occupation was antiquair.

He lived in the Netherlands, Denneweg 23, Den Haag.

Apparently he tried in vain to escape to Spain or Switzerland, was captured and imprisoned.

His name is on a list of prisoners from camp Gurs

Camp Gurs was near the French-Spanish border.

Additon from the editor: Abraham Falkenburg was deported  in one of the 2 transports to Sobibor.

From the total of 62 deportationtrains from Drancy 55 had destination Auschwitz, 2 to Majdanek, 2 to Sobibor, 1 to Tallin, 1 to Buchenwald and 1 to Bergen-Belsen
