Liro card

Cards listing objects that Jews were required to surrender to the Lippmann-Rosenthal Bank.

After the war the cards were used to claim damages from the German government. The files compiled about these claims were destroyed, along with most Liro cards. About 3,100 cards not used to file a claim were kept aside. They lapsed into oblivion in the building of the Agency of the Ministry of Finance and were found there abandoned in 1997. The cards are now at the Nationaal Archief. The cards are part of the archives of the Raad voor het Rechtsherstel (inv. 2.09.48.01).

Access is subject to authorization from Nationaal Archief, Research Department (Postbus 90510, 2509 LM Den Haag).
