The fate of Lena van Kreeveld after her 2nd marriage to Simson Cohen Rodrigues.

Lena van Kreeveld married on 3 July 1930 Simson Cohen Rodrigues, who was previously married and divorced from Mietje Berlijn. Lena, who was previously married and divorced from Simon Frankfort, had together with him three children, viz. Rebecca (23 September 1928), Hendrik (5 October 1930) en Richard Frankfort (31 Januari 1935).

A year after the birth of Richard Frankfort, the couple Frankfort-van Kreeveld decided to split up, after which the marriage has been dissolved by divorce on 10 June 1937. The marriage of Simson Cohen Rodrigues and Mietje Berlijn came also to an end; that marriage has  been dissolved by divorce on 30 June 1938.

Also Simson Cohen Rodrigues had alrady three children in his first marriage, viz. Rachel (24 September 1922), Alida (8 Mei 1930) and Josua Cohen Rodrigues (19 Mei 1932). After Lena was divorced from Simon Frankfort, she lived with her children at Retiefstraat 71 III in Amsterdam-East and Simson Cohen Rodrigues moved in with her in 1938 after his divorce. His children lived with their mother Mietje Berlijn at Batavierstraat 17 I in the centre of Amsterdam.

Mietje Berlijn remarried in April 1940 to the non-Jewish Johannes Cornelis Craemers,with whom she had already in 1939 a pre-matrimonial child. (Jennie). Her children Alida and Josua Frankfort, as well the youngest Jennie Craemers ánd Mietje Berlijn herself, have survived the war.

Lena and Simson decided to get officially married on 3 July 1940 and out of that wedlock their son Simon Monny Cohen Rodrigues was born on 10 January 1943. However, in the month of May 1943, large raids were held by the Germans and Lena van Kreeveld, her husband Simson Cohen Rodrigues and their little son Simon Monny, as well the children Rebecca and Richard Frankfort were arrested and carried off to Westerbork on 25 May 1943. They all lived since 19 September 1942 at Nieuwe Achtergracht 75 III.

After arrival in Westerbork, they were housed in barrack 65 and on 29 June their deportation to Sobibor followed. Upon arrival there on 2 July 1943, Lena van Kreeveld, her husband Simson Cohen Rodrigues, their 5-month-old little son Simon Monny as well the children Rebecca and Richard Frankfort were immediately murdered in the gas chambers.
