All their possessions were taken away by the Hausraterfassungsstelle. In Amsterdam the moving company owned by the Puls family emptied their homes (other companies were involved outside Amsterdam). Looting of household contents was referred to as ’pulsen‘. Careful records were kept of the goods looted.
