About Judik Prijs.

Judik Prijs was born 6 December 1895 in Amsterdam as the only daughter of Marcus Prijs and Mietje Gompers. She was a seamstress by profession and married 11 October 1918 in Buiksloot to Ephraim Zeeman, from whom she was divorced on 20 October 1921. No children were born from this marriage.

Thereafter she remarried only on 2 August 1972 in Amsterdam the 2-year older Johannes Lambertus Beumer, who passed away there on 23 August 1977.

In August 1915 Judik left her parental home, then at St. Antoniebreestraat , for Buiksloot, where she stayed till 21 March 1919. Then she returned to Amsterdam, where she came living in with her mother and brothers at Nieuwe Achtergracht 4 1st floor. Her father passed away there on 23 August 1926.

Judik Prijs survived the Holocaust as the only one from the family. After the war, she lived since 1946 in the Jacob van Campenstraat 48 parterre and on 10 September 1992 she had to move to the nursing ward of Beth Shalom, which was located in the Akerwateringstraat 243 in Amsterdam-Osdorp, where she passed away on 5 February 1993.
