Het Joodsche Weekblad

Official medium of the Jewish Council.

As of 26 October 1941, all Jewish periodicals were prohibited, except for Het Joodsche Weekblad. A.J. Herzberg was the executive editor. In addition to articles about social and religious matters, the paper disclosed Nazi regulations concerning Jews and Jewish affairs. Everything published in the paper was screened and censored by the Nazi authorities first. By September 1943 the readers had disappeared, and the paper was discontinued.
