Meijer change the name to Mayer (Max)

Meijer is my grandfather. He changed his name to Meyer when he emigrated to Chile. Her mother is Heintje Gobus (Amsterdam, December 28, 1888) who emigrated to Chile with her second husband Coenraad Bromet (Amsterdam, June 22, 1883). Heintje went to Chile in 1939 with her second husband Coenraad Bromet and the son of her first marriage with Maurits Polak, Meijer, born on July 1, 1914. Heintje and Coenraad had no children but they were happy with Max, as they called their son and their two granddaughters, Isabel (my mother) and Elaine, out of affection.
