In the family of Levie Lievendag (1822-1908) and Hester Frankenhuis (1828-1892), eleven children were born among them Dina, who was born 1 November 1869, and also a stillborn daughter in 1862. The other children in this family were Salomon, Heijman, Hendrina, Roosje, Rosetta, Elisabeth, Karel, Jacob, Abraham and Isak.
Heijman and Karel died as babies, they became not yet a year old and her brother Isak died at the age of 3 in 1874. Her brother Salomon and sisters Hendrina, Roosje and Elisabeth have died before the outbroke of the war. None of them were married.
Only Rosetta, Jacob, Abraham and Dina her self died after 1940: Rosette was killed in Sobibor 16 April 1943 at the age of 84. Abraham died in Oldenzaal 15 September 1941 and 10 February 1942, Dina her self, unmarried and draper by trade – passed away too in Oldenzaal.
