About Jacob Vreeland.

Jacob Vreeland was a son of the musician Levie Vreeland and Femmetje Visjager. He was unmarried and born at Harderwijk, the village where also his sister Rosetta has been born. Besides her, he had two other sisters, Alida and Esther, who both have survived the war.

Jacob Vreeland was an occasional worker. For quite some time he has lived in with his sister Esther, in Rotterdam, who was married to Heinrich Karl Hermann Konrad Gottfried Stahl, who worked at the mercantile marine as a sailor and as a docker.  In Augustus 1938  he lived at St. Jacobstraat 38 in  Rotterdam.  Jacob’s last known address was Turfmarkt 55 at Gouda. He was deported from there 26 September 1942 to Camp Westerbork and two days later, 28 September put on transport to Auschwitz. Upon arrival there, 1 October 1942, Jacob Vreeland was killed immediately.
