About Louis Hakker

Louis Hakker was a son of Isaac Hakker and Esther Koe. He married 17 July 1942 in Amsterdam Celine van Cleef, a daughter of Jochem van Cleef and Clara Jas. Louis was a diamond polisher and Celine, usually called Lien, was a seamstress of lingerie. The couple had no children.

Louis Hakker lived at Tugelaweg 97 I in Amsterdam but moved after his marriage to nr. 93 I. 11 May 1943 both were registered in the Peoples Registry of Amsterdam at Griftstraat 53 2nd floor and from there both were deported to Camp Westerbork where Louis in barack 66 and Celine in barack 65 had to stay. 13 July 1943 they were put on transport to Sobibor where they were killed immediately upon arrival there 16 July 1943.
