About Heintje Bosboom, spouse of Isaac van Rijs

Heintje Bosboom was a daughter of Mozes Salomon Bosboom (a son of Salomon Mozes Bosboom and Annaatje Barend Kroese) and Vogel van der Glas (a daughter of Joel Jesaijas van der Glas and Schoontje Jochem Hes). Heintjes parents were married in Amsterdam 16 August 1865.

Heintje was born into a family with seven children of whom she self, Jesaia, Klaartje and Sientje were killed in the Shoah. Her brother Salomon died in 1923 and her brother Joel passed away in 1939. Presumably her brother Emanuel survived the war.

16 September 1903 Heintje Bosboom married in Amsterdam Isaac van Rijs, a son of Abraham van Rijs and Rebecca Hakker. The couple had two children: Volgelina in 1904 and Abraham in 1905. Both children were killed during the Holocaust.

Heintje Bosboom and her husband Isaac van Rijs werd deported from Camp Westerbork to Auschwitz on 12 October 1942 and upon arrival there immediately killed on 15 October 1942.
