Mozes Hamme was a son of Simon Hamme and Rachel de Blaauw. He married Betje Blits in Amsterdam on 14 April 1926, a daughter of Nathan Blits and Esther Halberstadt. The couple had three children, namely Nathan, Rachel and Esther.
During the period after his marriage till 1930, Mozes Hamme and Betje Blits resided in Antwerp, Deurne and Berchem. Their latest address in Berchem was Van Steenlantstraat 51. Per 30 January 1930 they returned in Amsterdam were also their children were born, and they lived at various addresses; in 1935 at Christan de Weststraat 16 II and per 24 July 1939 at Schalkburgerstraat 18 I.
On 3 October 1942 Mozes Hamme and his family were registered in Camp Westerbork and on 5 October deported to Auschwitz. Mozes has been selected to do hard labor and eventually he lost his live somewhere in Mid Europe on 31 Autust 1943. His wife Betje and the children Nathan, Rachel and Esther were killed immediately upon arrival in Auschwitz on 8 October 1942.
