Henrietta Heijman was a daughter of Levi Heijman and Evalina van Praag. She married 12 December 1930 in Gendringen David Aron Spier, a son of Samuel Spier and Judith de Haas. After their wedding, Henrietta and David Aron moved on 15 December 1930 from Gendringen to the municipality of Wisch.
The couple had three children. The eldest, Judy, was born in Wisch in 1932. Concering the activities of Henrietta’s spouse as inspector of the Dutch Livestock Federation, the family resided in 1935 in Leeuwarden, were daughter Ina was born in September 1935. On 1 March 1938 the Spier family moved from Leeuwarden to Hoogakkerlaan 71 in Apeldoorn, were in December their third child, Levi Samuel was born.
During the war, the Spier family have stayed for some time with the family of Levie van Praag (brother of Henrietta’s mother) and his wife Sabine Cohen at Lange Niezel 9 downfloor and at 4 June 1943, the Spier family moved to Biesboschstraat 45, also in Amsterdam.
On 20 June 1943, Henrietta, her husband and children were registered at transit camp Westerbork, where Henrietta and her children had to stay in barack 61 but her husband in barack 57. On 6 July deportation followed to Sobibor, where Henrietta and family upon arrival there on 9 July 1943 were killed.
