About Evelina Kosman

Evelina Kosmen was a daughter of Barend Kosman and Leentje Pachter. She married Salomon Lopes Salzedo in Amsterdam on 28 August 1929, a son of Samuel Lopes Salzedo and Eva Pachter. Evelina and Salomon had three children: Eva, Bernard and Samuel. All three of them, together with their mother, have been killed in Auschwitz on 8 October 1942. Her husband Salomon lost his life in concentration camp Buchenwald on 23 February 1945.

Evelina was born into a family with six children. Her sister Betsie and brother Gerhard have survived the Holocaust. However, her siblings Michel, Maurits and Evelina have been killed in the Shoah.
