Levie Crost, vendor of flowers, was a son of Juda Crost and Veronica de Hond. He married Catharina Sluijter in Amsterdam on 10 September 1903, a daughter of Salomon Sluijter and Rebecca de Hond. The couple had five children, of whom one son died in infancy, only three months old. The other children, Femmy, Salomon and Juda were all killed in the Shoah. Only his daughter Rebecca presumably has survived the war. Levie Crost and his wife Catharine both have been killed in Auschwitz on 17 September 1942.
