Chaim Dawid Steiner from Rzeszow (Poland) was a son of Cina Steiner and Sima Weinberger. Since December 1928 Chaim Dawid stayed in Amsterdam and resided at various addreses. On 26 July 1939 he married in Amsterdam Eva Mina Eisenmann, a daughter of Gerson Eisenmann from Frankfurt am Main and Rosa Ichenhäuser. The couple had two daughters, in 1940 and 1941; both have survived the Holocaust by hiding. Chaim Dawid self and his wife Eva Mina have been killed together on 14 January 1943 in Auschwitz.
